Subscribe to the Workshop Mod
Subscribe to Knox County Survivor Network in the Project Zomboid Steam Workshop, then enable it from the game's Mods menu.
GET CONNECTED
The Workshop mod includes the KCSN Java client. With ZombieBuddy enabled, survivor stats sync securely to the network while you play.
Enable ZombieBuddy
ZombieBuddy provides the Java mod support KCSN needs. The KCSN Java client is already included with the Workshop mod and starts automatically in game.
OPEN WORKSHOP PAGEPlay Normally
Load a single-player survivor. The mod assigns a persistent survivor ID and reports the character's current ruleset.
Check Your Signal
Return to the leaderboard and search for your survivor. Your survivor status is updated through signed sync messages from the integrated KCSN Java client.

TROUBLESHOOTING
No survivor appears: confirm both Knox County Survivor Network and ZombieBuddy are enabled, then load a single-player survivor.
No sync: check the in-game KCSN status display. SIGNED and SYNC OK indicate the network connection is working.
